The conditional complex sentence is important and difficult in foreign language teaching. We investigate and analyze the definition, classification, error types and teaching suggestions and design on conditional complex sentence from the angle of foreign language teaching.In the first chapter, We have made the summary to the predecessor and the worthy people of former times about the condition compound sentence research. The pair process difference carries on the summary with the undefined aspect.In the second chapter, it should be clear that there are two types of conditional complex sentence:coordinate complex sentence and subordinate complex sentences. Conditional complex sentence, a part of the subordinate complex sentence, is divided into three types:sufficient conditional sentence, necessary conditional sentence and unconditional sentence, We make a comprehensive and systematic description on the three types, and do some analysis on the basic use of correlative words in conditional complex sentences. The overlap issues between conditional complex sentence and hypothetical and causational complex sentences are explained, too.In the third chapter, interlanguage is selected, discriminated and classified based on the material collected in the corpus. Through the data, the mastery degree of foreign students on the conditional complex sentence shows the most errors occur when there are "only" and "as long as". Four types of error are omission, redundancy, misuse and blend. According to the three types of conditional complex sentence, we indicate and simply analyze the causes of errors.The last chapter is teaching suggestions and design on the conditional complex sentence. On the basis of error interlanguage, four teaching suggestions are put forward and related measures are designed with teaching theory and psychological theory as the guide.This paper mainly adopts literature search, contrastive analysis, error analysis, and semantic analysis. Searching in the existing literature makes the study more reliable and scientific. The contrastive analysis is used to contrast and analyze correlative words in conditional complex sentences. By the error analysis, we classify errors that foreign students make and analyze the reason for its creation. And the conditional complex sentence is analyzed from the aspect of semantic content.
