This thesis first divided the hypothetical complex sentence into four kinds,and defined the grammatical meaning and the background of the semantic of each kind.Then designed the teaching aims and teaching principle, then make clear the content of teaching,and decided the sequence of teaching. At last, designed the teaching plan of the coherent hypothetical complex sentence.The whole thesis composed of five parts.The first part is introduction. We mainly introduce the reason for the reaserch, objective and content of the reaserch,reaserch methods and literature review on Chinese hypothetical complex sentence.The second part divided the hypothetical complex sentence into four kinds, coherent hypothetical complex sentence,concession-transition hypothetical complex sentense,preposition negate hypothetical complex sentense,and postposition-negate hypothetical complex sentense.Then defined the grammatical meaning and the background of the semantic of each kind.The third part designed the teaching aims and teaching principle, then make clear the content of teaching,and decided the sequence of teaching by means of counting the use frequency of hypothetical complex sentence among Chinese native speakers and foreign students, analysing the errors of foreign students of hypothetical complex sentence, researching the logical semantic level of hypothetical complex sentence, and reviewing three of the teaching programs.The forth part designed the teaching plan of the concession-transition hypothetical complex sentence from teaching object,teaching aims,difficulties,and teaching steps.The last part is concluding remarks.The reaserch result,deficiency and suggestions for the succeeding reaserch will be given in this part.
