The "hao ni ge X" structure is a common oral Chinese idiom in spoken Chinese. Viewed formally, This structure is not grammatical and logic, but in daily oral communication, it's widely used and has some distinctive semantic features. This paper focuses on the characteristics of the the "hao ni ge X" structure and the reason and mechanism of its formation.Besides the preface and the conclusion, the text mainly has three aspects.Firstly, this article analyzes the characteristics of the "hao ni ge X" structure from the angle of oral Chinese idiom and attempts to reveal the "live" characteristics of language. Specific format, specific context and specific semantic are the basic characteristics of an oral idiom. The "hao ni ge X" structure is steady in form. As a whole, it expresses some specific meaning which is established by usage. In addition, Using small words and irregular of syllable are also the characteristics of this structure's.Next, this article makes a description of this structure from static level with three aspects that is syntax, semantics and pragmatics. Inspecting its syntactic performance, internal and external aspects of the "hao ni ge X" structure are analyzed. About the semantic features, the article mainly inspects the semantic features of the variable component "X" and the basic meaning of this structure.Finally, this paper analyses several variant forms of the "hao ni ge X" structure, from dynamic perspective. We introduced the grammaticalization theory and the lexicalization theory to discuss the reason and mechanism of this structure's formation.
