Aesthetic Value Research Of Applying Waste Ceramics In Environmental Art

This thesis investigated the possibility and necessity of applying waste ceramics in environment art. I also proposed my understanding of this problem with emphasis on aesthetic value aspect of environment art. The first chapter of the thesis introduced the purpose and significance of this investigation, the research status at home and abroad, the structure of the thesis and the methods we used in the investigation. In the second chapter, we gave the definition of waste ceramics, and talked about the disposal of waste ceramics. We then analyzed the possibility and necessity of applying waste ceramics in environment art. The third chapter is the main part of this thesis, we investigated the application of waste ceramics in environment art from three aspects: the beauty of personality created by the combination of ceramics and the environment art; the beauty of nature highlighted by using ceramics in the environment art; the harmonic beauty generated by the integration of ceramics and environment art. In the fourth chapter, we made a brief summary of the aesthetic value of the application in environment art.This thesis presented a theoretical foundation for the aesthetic value of the application in environment art, moreover, several examples were given to illustrate the theory. Hopefully this thesis will be helpful in the innovation of ceramic decoration art and environment art.
