"Play" is one of the human innate behavior, playfulness is the nature of human,and the quality of play. college students is a special group of the society, which is in the key period of growth, facing education, work, relationships and other important issues, the study of playfulness of college students has important practical significance. At present, the studys and related research of playfulness are very limited, this study compiled with Chinese characteristics, playfulness of college students scale, on the basis of the relevant demographic variables and the relationship between students playfulness.The research results from home and abroad, based on the literature analysis, interviews, questionnaire, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, to construct a theoretical model of college students playfulness, and after the reliability and validity test of the students playfulness scale, we produced consistent psychometric requirements for China's national conditions. In addition, the system examines the characteristics of playfulness students, college students for improving mental health, learning and life satisfaction has a significant value.The conclusions as follows were reached:(1) Playfulness in college students is a seven-order factor structure:sense of humor, creativity, curiosity, activity, social, spontaneous,pleasure. The students self playfulness scale has good reliability and validity, can be used as measurement tools to college students playfulness.(2) The development level of the Chinese college students playfulness is in the medium level of playfulness.(3) College students playfulness in the spontaneous, social, pleasure there are significant gender differences in performance for girls than boys. Creative dimension of the significant gender differences in performance scores for boys than girls. (4) There was a significant difference between different grades, freshman playfulness shows highest level, was significantly higher than the other three grades; curiosity, activity, social, pleasure IV dimension in the year there was a significant difference between. Curiosity and social factors in, the junior students scored higher than the sophomore students, while the activity, pleasure dimension is expressed as a sophomore than junior students.(5) College students playfulness in the sense of humor, activity, social, pleasure in the professional category were significantly different:the dimension of a sense of humor, literature and history students to the highest level, significantly higher than students in science and engineering and other professional; activity, social, pleasure dimension, education, philosophy class the highest level, significantly higher than that of science and engineering, literature and history and other professional students.(6) College students playfulness a sense of humor in the dimension of playfulness in the students there were significant differences on the ground, showing the city's students for students scored higher than students in order for the township and rural students.(7) College students playfulness in the sense of humor, playfulness dimension on whether there were significant differences on the child, the subjects showed higher scores than non-only child only child to be tested.(8) College students playfulness in the number of brothers and sisters does not exist significant differences.(9) College students playfulness on the order of brothers and sisters, there was no significant difference.(10) College students playfulness in students a sense of humor, creativity, curiosity, active community of four dimensions of experience and without significant differences, there are societies experienced students scored higher than students with no experience in community organizations.(11) College students playfulness in the sense of humor, creativity, curiosity, spontaneity, activity, social dimension in the availability of part-time experience of society there was a significant difference in the performance of a part-time experience for the students scored higher than part-time experience students.
