Chinese verb-resultative construction is one of the syntax structures that reflect salient features of Chinese language. And it's also one of the difficult points in teaching Chinese as a second language. Through questionnaire survey, this thesis makes a study to discuss the situation about Indonesia's verb-resultative construction acquisition. We pay attention on both understanding and expression aspects.First, the foreign students of Indonesia can accept those six types of verb-resultative constructions on different stages. They always obey a difficult sequence, which is consistent to Chinese students. The rule is that the foreign students of Indonesia can understand type A and type E most easily, but type F is the hardest to understand for them. Meanwhile, we try to explain why there is a difficult sequence.Second, the situation of foreign students'expression of verb-resultative construction is very complex. They can use type A correctly when translating, but the percent of correct using about type F is the lowest. Indonesian has no verb-resultative construction, so the students can't find a corresponding form in their mother tongue. As a result, they make a lot of errors when acquiring this item. There is a very obvious phenomenon that the foreign students of Indonesia avoid using verb-resultative constructions. They try to find other language forms instead, for example, using conjunction. In teaching Chinese as a foreign language, we should pay more attention to the influence of migration, and guide the students to analyze the different expression between mother tongue and target language in the same context. They will benefit from comparative analysis and error analysis.
