Possible Structure of resultative complement is a kind of possible complement.It refers to the insertion of a soft "get and not" between the resultative complement and the central language,which constitutes a kind of possible expression format indicating whether the result of the action is possible.As a relatively possible expression format in modern Chinese,this structure is easy to learn,but due to its complicated semantics and limited use restrictions,and there is no grammatical phenomenon corresponding to it in the mother tongue of most international students.It is a very important and difficult grammar point in the major teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Discuss from the relationship between the verb-resultative construction and the possible structure of resultative complement,the resultative complement could be transformed into the verb-resultative construction.The verb-resultative construction and the possible structure of resultative complement are two different complementing structures.There are asymmetry in the actual transformation,which is mainly reflected in the fact that the verb-resultative construction and its predicate and complement are far more than the possible structure of resultative complement.Not all of verb-resultative construction could be converted into possible structure,and there are limitations in the conversion process.The factor that restricts the predicate of V into the possible structure of resultative complement comes from the completion of V.The factor that restricts the complement C into the possible structure of resultative complement is derived from the realization of C.It is the completion of V and the realization of C,and the two-way constraint between the two,which constitutes the asymmetry of the transition to the possible structure of resultative complement.In the process of learning the possible structure of resultative complement of the non-native Chinese learners,there is unbalanced and asymmetrical use frequency in affirmative state,negative state and interrogative state.The main manifestation is that negative form is more than affirmative form either the interrogative form.This paper try to analyzes this asymmetric phenomena,then explain the causes from the angles grammar,semantics and pragmatics.Because the possible structure of resultative complement is more difficult to learn,the foreign students often adopt an avoidance strategy when expressing the meaning of possibility,and replace the possible structure of resultative complement with other possible structure.This paper selects the most commonly used possible expression structure"modal verb+verb" to compare with the possible structure of resultative complement,explores the differences between the two,and specifically points out the restrictions on the use of these two possible expressions.Based on the survey of HSK dynamic composition corpus and the Interlanguage corpus of Yangzhou University,we found that there are five types of errors in the possible structure of resultative complement of foreign Chinese learners,including omission,improper addition,misrepresentation,wrong order and hybridity.Numerically,the most error is misrepresentation,the least error is hybridity.Omission,improper addition and wrong order errors are in a similar number.The causes of errors are textbooks,teachers' improper handling of the possible structure of resultative complement,imperfect study of Chinese ontology,negative transfer of mother tongue,negative transfer of target language knowledge,the influence of learning strategies and communication strategies.The use situation is inseparable from the teaching situation.There is a great connection between what to teach and how to use it.On the basis of analyzing the syllabus and lots of current textbooks,this paper finds that the concept of linguistic point is ambiguous and that the meaning of grammatical points is explained by the use of "modal verb+verb".In combination with the status quo and bias of the possible structure of resultative complement use of the foreign students,the teaching suggestions are pointed out.
