Chinese verb-resultative construction (VCR in this abstract) is one of the syntax structures that reflect salient features of Chinese language. And it is also one of the difficult points for teaching Chinese as a second language. On the basis of studying the corresponding forms of VCR in Korean and its corresponding conditions, this paper analyzes the types of the errors made by ethnic Korean primary students during their learning of VCR and the reasons that cause the errors. Besides the degrees of difficulty learning VCR and the order of the acquisition are all analyzed in this paper.Through comparative study and survey materials, we not only get a deeper understanding of VCR but also provide much useful information for the further research of VCR and shed light on ethnic Korean learner's acquisition of VCR.This paper consists of three parts in addition to the conclusion. The main contents are as follows:Chapter One introduces the purpose, the scope and the significance of this research and surveys previous research done in the field and introduce the sources of corpus.Chapter Two makes the analysis of VCR's corresponding forms in Korean. Chinese VCR has four kinds of corresponding forms in Korean. Namely "Adverbial+V", "S1+suffix+S2", auxiliary verbs and compound verbs. "Adverbial+V" can be subclassified into "Adverb+V", "(?)+V"and "-(?)/(?)+V". "V+A" type of VCR corresponds to "adverbial +V"in Korean. "V+V" type of VCR corresponds to "S1+suffix+S2" of Korean. Korean auxiliary verbs "-(?)","-(?)","(?)" also have corresponding relations with VCR of Chinese. And the same structure of VCR is allowed to have many kinds of expressions in Korean language and the different Korean corresponding forms have transformational relations.Chapter Three discusses the survey result of acquisition of VCR used by ethnic Korean primary school students and analyzes the errors made by them during their learning of VCR and the reasons that cause the errors. At last it summarizes the order of the acquisition.The conclusion summarizes the whole thesis and proposes some aspects that future researchers should focus on and points out the deficiencies of this thesis.
