With rapid development of economy and the rise of international status, China's influence on the world is growing, and more and more people are learning Chinese. Character learning is an integral part of Chinese language learning, however for those learners who get used to the alphabetic, it's really a big challenge to memorise various Chinese character. It makes many learners probibitive.Researches on the teaching strategies used by the Chinese teachers in of international school aims to help the students aged 6-12 to memorize Chinese characters. To study the differences and regularities of teaching Chinese characters in different classes, whether Chinese as native language or foreign language, by analysis of questionnaires, individual interviews and the instances of classroom teaching, in order to offer references and suggestions to practitioners and administrators of Chinese teaching in multicultural primary school.
