The purpose of this research is to study the relationship between the acceptance for apology and the level of offence in China and Thailand in order to encourage the communications between these two countries to be effective.According to the questionnaires collected in this research, it demonstrates that there are some differences in cultural context between Chinese and Thai people. Therefore, it creates the difference in using the acceptance for apology of Chinese people and Thai people.The data analysis shows that there are two categories of the acceptance for apology; positive acceptance and negative acceptance. The relationship between the acceptance for apology and the level of offence has been founded in the research. The positive acceptance for apology decreases and the negative acceptance for apology increases when the level of offence increases.
