Study On Jiang Boqian's Chinese Language Educational Reform Thoughts

Jiang boqian is a master in Confucian classics study as well as a famous educator in Chinese language.Except for his attainments in studies of Chinese ancient civilization,he makes a great achievement in the field of Chinese language teaching, both in terms of theory and practice.What he accomplishes makes him important in the history of modern Chinese language education.In order to solve the problems about Middle school Chinese language education,he puts forward a series of teaching methods about reading,writing and extracurricular teaching.And he compiles a set of systematic teaching materials, within and outside of class.Actually as a whole,he constructs a Chinese language curriculum.My essay will discuss Jiang boqian's Chineses language educational reform thoughts from three aspects:viewpoint about teaching methods reform, the construction of a curriculum and the features of it, the modern significance of Jiang boqian's Chinese language thoughts.In the first chapter the Overview of Jiang boqian s Reform thoughts in Secondary School Chinese Language Education, I will mainly introduce his pedagogy theory including the purpose of Chinese language education,the rules of selecting teaching contents and teaching methods, I will also introduce the textbooks he compiled.In the second chapter Jiang boqian's Construction of a Chinese Language Curriculum and the Features of His Perspective on Curriculum, I will discuss his contributions to the construction of the modern Chinese language curriculum and the three features of it.In the third chapter The Modern Significance of Jiang boqian's Chinese language Educational Reform Thoughts,I will focuse on the important significance of Jiang boqian's viewpoints and construction of modern literature development and Chinese language education.
