Study On The Policy Of Higher Education In The State Of The Region During The Anti-Japanese War

After the outbreak of the war, the Japanese imperialists bombed and destroyed Chinese higher education institutions, the university's equipment, books and teachers suffered great losses. Although higher education suffered great loss early in the war, higher education still restored after the national government and the university constantly adjusted. To solve the dilemma of Higher Education, the National Government has taken many measures, such as the Inland of universities, the relief of teachers and students, the unified entrance examination and other measures. The National Government also noticed the improvement and enrichment of higher education, such as registered unemployed teachers who were assigned to carry out educational research; improved the course and enriched the equipment. Every institution also actively searched grant funds, paid attention to improve the relationship between the institution and the ingoing government, and carried out scientific research with the local situation. The Chinese government and higher education of universities made common efforts and overcome difficulties and achieved great development. The scale and magnitude of colleges and universities increased rapidly; books and equipments enriched; academic atmosphere become more intense; teaching quality can be improved. This is a good foundation for the country's development and social progress.
