The Research Of "A De VP" Structure In Modern Chinese

In this thesis,we discuss"A de VP"(Aå¾—VP),a pattern in Mandarin,which hasnt been discussed much by other scholars before.The aim of this paper is to analyse the grammatical function of the structure and probe into its generation in detail.Besides the introduction and summary,this paper is devided into six chapters.Chapter One is the preface of the paper.The second chapter analyzes the syntactic function of "A de VP", and then we make a reasonable explanation of the syntactic features.The third chapter discuss the syntax and semantic features of "A"and "VP" in "A de VP" pattern.Chapter four,we studies on the syntax and grammatical features of "de"in "A de VP".According to the Construction Grammar Theory and former research,we abstract the meaning of the "A de VP".The fifth chapter firstly analysis pragmatic features of "A de VP".Then we analysis that how this pattern generated and point out that topicalization results the pattern of "A de VP".The six chapter is the conclusion.we hope our research could do some benefit for the further research.
