American Blacks′apartheid has been a widely concerned social problem. The American Blacks′urbanization is a trend and low of historical development. Black people have been keeping fighting for democracy and equal rights which on the other hand fail to realize their American dream in urbanization.This article syatematically analyses the urbanization of the Blacks,the reasons and features of their residential segregation and the impact on American urban society.The first part of the article defines the concept of urbanization and residential segregation ,and from the aspects of culturs, education, history and the Blacks themselves studies the origin of the Black′s residential segregation. The second part takes the urbanization process in the United States as the main line focusing on (U.S. became urbanized country) the status of black residential segregation after 1920 and studies the living modes in the following 5 periods: before entering the of the country, initialization period metropolitan area, the period of metropolitan area, suburbanization period and the period of large metropolitan area. The third part analyse the some new features of the Black′s residential segregation, focusing on the residential segregation of black poverty and social groups under the isolation. Finally the article analyzes the Blacks′urban residential segregation′s of social impact caused by the deep analysis of urban black residential segregation patterns in duced causes a reflection. Black residential segregation is caused by a variety of factors.long-term development will lead to ethnic stratification. This"American disease"is difficult to cure in the short term, which will seriously affect the harmony and progress of American society.This article analysis of American cities′different stages of racial residential segregation, combing the reasons behind this phenomenon to explore ways to improve and build a harmonious city for reference. For a country about to enter the multi-ethnic city of the China it has important theoretical significance and far-reaching practical significance.
