The Chinese teaching to foreign students should embody the specialization. So its target and context should also embody specialization. The specialization means target not the language itself, and the target refers to the pragmatic needs that make the foreign students study Chinese. In order to make overseas students complete the Chinese tasks that they will encounter in the future in their lives, the teaching context and the curriculum design of Chinese must satisfy the needs. Therefore, we can't only depend on the writers but the pragmatic needs of the foreign students when we choose the teaching context, design the curriculum and carryon the examination. This paper uses the questionnaire and interview to discuss the learning and usage tasks of Central Asian foreign students according to the needs analysis, so as to get primary, middle and proficient levels of Chinese teaching topics. They can give us suggestions and inspirations about teaching, writing books, curriculum design and examination in order to avoid blindness. All this can help the students improve the communicative ability in a short time, satisfy the practical needs of communication in Chinese, make the learning results seen rapidly and eliminate the awe and fear of learning Chinese. It is essential for spreading Chinese. In a word, we can see that it's feasible to use the needs analysis in the Chinese teaching field.
