“You” sentence is a type of characteristic sentence in modern Chinese. It has ahigh occurrence for daily use and is considered to be acquired easily. However,“You”sentence actually has a variety of semantic meanings and complex structures. Thelinguists can not reach a consensus concerning the part of speech, syntactic feature,semantic meanings and pragmatic functions of “You” word. Based on the previousstudies, the present paper attempts to make a research on the acquisition situation of“You” sentence.Chapter one mainly concentrates on the significance and value of research,discussing the necessity of studying acquisition situation of “You” sentence of CentralAsian students. The author also summarizes and teases some relevant ontologicalresearches generally, from which it can be found that there are still problemsremaining, especially the application of ontological researches in Chinese teaching forforeigners is the weak side.Chapter two examines the current research situation as well as the distribution inteaching materials and syllabus of “You” sentence. Then the author puts forward someimprovements in teaching materials and syllabus, and states the classification andbasis of sub-constructions of “You” sentence.Chapter three explicates the design of questionnaires in detail. According to theresults of questionnaires, the author statistically analyzes the acquisition situation of“You” sentence shown by Central Asian students at elementary, intermediate andadvanced levels and concludes that Central Asian students at different learning levelshave different features of acquisition. In order to describe the acquisition situation of“You” sentence comprehensively, the author analyzes the use of “You” sentence andother relevant sentence patterns, concluding that “You” sentence is easily mixed with“Shi” sentence.Chapter four, combining the error corpora from questionnaires with the corpora from the teaching practice, summarizes that there are four types of errors shown byCentral Asian students, namely, omission, disordering, redundancy andoverrepresentation. And then the author explores the underlying reasons.In Chapter five, the author discusses the pedagogical countermeasures to “You”sentence, makes some suggestions to syllabus and expects that the present study canbe beneficial to the teaching of “You” sentence.On the basis of achievements made by scholars before, this paper do the furtherresearch on the Acquisition Study of Central Asian Students on “You” Sentence.
