He used his own unique artistic language and new forms of technique to create a new look of Lu Landscape with a traditional foundation and modern flavor.First, this paper describes the comprehensive artistic style of Lu Yanshao's and tells us what his artistic style is. Then this paper analyzes the reason of the formation of his artistic style as well as states the formation history of his artistic style. In the end, this paper focuses on ways of laying out a painting and his tricks for using brushes and inks in his works of different periods. Thus this paper draws a conclusion that his careful, graceful, smart and lyrical artistic style features are embodied in his early paintings and his late paintings are vigorous, natural, powerful and sophisticated.
