Study On Lu,Yanshao's Artistic Style And Skill Of Landscape Painting

Lu,Yanshao,a master of landscape painting,has great influence in the Chinese painting.He has unusual artistic skill in landscape painting,using unpredictable and flexible techniques to show the charm of nature.The landscapes in his master pieces,such as,floating clouds,rising mists,and surging water,are active and impressive.With the worship of arts,Lu keeps perusing,distills the landscape from nature,and put his thought and feeling into his paintings.Take a wide view of Lu's paintings,he always shows the spirit of martyrdom,and admires the aesthetic feeling of the nature.Lu inherits tradition and adopts advantages from masters.Combining the characteristics of different landscape and the brushwork,Lu keeps working,innovating and practicing and make his painting better and better.His paintings are neither contrived nor constrained,but natural and vivid,magnificent and spectacular.Within the beauty of tradition and modernity,Lu's landscape paintings have new visual effects.His artistic skill,such as,“Gouyun”,“Huashui”,“Mokuai”,“Liubai”,are unique.His brushwork is hard and soft,his brush and ink is moist,and his art of composition is unrestricted.All of these have important research value,and make tremendous contibution to Chinese landscape paintingIn first section,Lu's artistic style of landscape painting is analyzed from various aspects.Based on the analysis on his magnum opus,the detail of his flexible,innovative,vital,vivid,magnificent and desolate artistic style is discussed.Lu's artistic skill of landscape painting is given in second section.From analysis of his magnum opus in different time,his artistic skills of “Gouyun”,“Huashui”,“Mokuai”,and “Liubai” are studied.The last section shows the influence of Lu's artistic style and skill in Chinese landscape painting,and the inspiration on my painting.Study on Lu's artistic style and skill will enlighten the creation and innovation of the landscape painting.
