This paper is about the officials who came from the three states on the Korea penisula during the Tang Dynasty. At Gaoli, there are two opposite oppineans bwtween the Chinese scholars and the Korean and the South Korean scholars. Though the author writes this paper with the so called name of "San Han" , this does not mean that the author contents the oppineans of the Korean and the South Korean scholars. On the contrary, the author holds the mostly Chinese scholars' opinean, that is, Gaoli was one of the ancient Chinese peoples, and Gaolis' most arear belonged to the ancient China. "San Han" .called in this paper, is just thought from the way that the ancient Chinese books recorded to the three sates on the Korea pen isula.During the beginning of the Tang Dynasty, great changes took place on the three states of the Korea peninsula. At the same time, a lot of Koreans migrated into the Tang Dynasty and became officials. From then on, these Koreans contributed to the Tang Dynasty in many feiIds. Some defended the borders, some took charge of the local administrative and military affairs, some became the emperor' s close and trustful suites, and even some took part in the palace coups.Combining the social and historical background of that time, the author investigated and narrated these Koreans' many aspects,such as their surnames, their experiences in the Tang Dynasty and their marriage and homes, etc.There are five sections in this thesis altogether :The first section is the preface.The background of the Korean officials' migration into the Tang Dynasty is introduced. Then the author expounds the thesis' s research range, reviews the researches on the Koreans at present in the historical field and points out the value of writing the thesis. Also the author explains how the thesis is structured.In the second section, the author investigates and narrates the Gaoli officials in the Tang Dynasty. Quite a lot of clans are investigated.inIn the third section, many Baiji officials in the Tang Dynasty are narrated. Many Baiji clan-members, from the king to the common military officers,whose affairs in the Tang Dynasty are investigated.The fourth section is about the research of the Silla officials' affairs in the Tang Dynasty.The difference between the Silla officials and the other two states' members is pointed out.Tn the last section,the author analyses the characters and influnces of the Korea officials in the Tang Dynasty.
