The Tang Dynasty and Silla maintained a good-neighborly relation for 170 years, it is one o f the best period for thousands o f year’s relationship between China and Korea. Jang Bogo was recorded by 《Xintangshu》, 《Samguksagi》 and so on, at the same time Ennin as also did a large number o f records for the Silla people in the Tang Dynasty. This provides a solid historical foundation for this thesis that research Jang Bogo and the Silla people in the Tang Dynasty.By studying, especially, which combed detailedly and comprehensively the the Silla people’s record in Ennin’s 《 Rutangqiufa Xunlixingji》, in the 《Xingji》 found that about one tenth of the sentence length wrote the Silla people in the Tang Dynasty. This is a historical picture scroll for the Silla people in the Tang Dynasty. In this so many words, there was none that reflected that the Silla people had been gotten unjust treatment when they were in the Tang Dynasty.Under Du Mu’s word, Jang Bogo was almost become Zhou Gong, Shao Gong, and Guo Fengyang in China. This shows that Du Mu wasn’t Narrow nationalism, and reflects that the Tang writer’s thought style o f “The Sea is to stand up in the generosity to accept all the water99.The Tang Dynasty’s government always prohibited plundering the Silla slaves, and the Silla slaves were sold illegally by pirates. Besides, the Tang Dynasty’s slaves weren’t the slaves o f slave society. The end o f the Silla slaves was mainly by Jang Bogo after he returned his country, and was also associated with the Tang Dynasty government’s policy and severe blow.This paper through the citation draws a conclusion: The Tang Dynasty government not only gave preferential treatment to officials from Silla, but also to the Silla people in the Tang Dynasty, and their outstanding representative was Jang Bogo. Without the Tang D ynasty^ tolerance, there was no Jang Bogo this great historical figure.
