This paper mainly discusses the historical background,the course of educational activities,the historical orientation and understanding of Tang culture of foreign students from Silla in Tang Dynasty.In the 7th and 9th centuries AD,Tang Dynasty's achievements in culture,education,literature and art were far ahead of the rest of the world.At the same time,the Tang Dynasty upheld the policy of opening to the outside world and established close contacts with many countries and regions in the world.This has attracted many countries in Silla to send students to study in the Tang Dynasty.As a close neighbor of the Tang Dynasty,Silla was confronted with the situation of disputes and annexation among the three countries on the Peninsula during the reign of Shande Queen.For the purpose of making political contacts with the Tang Dynasty,Silla began sending aristocratic children to study in the Tang Dynasty.At that time,the overseas students were called "bodyguards".As the Tang Dynasty government officially set up the"Binggong Section" for foreigners to obtain scholars,under the influence of this,Silla civil society set off a "study abroad craze",its representative is Silla famous scholar Cui Zhiyuan.After returning home,these students gradually evolved from a kind of cultural identity to a kind of cultural conscious practice,which has closely linked with the extensive exchanges of Tang culture,and actively promoted the political and cultural development of Silla.This thesis is divided into three parts:introduction,main body and conclusion.The first chapter is the introduction of the purpose and significance of the topic,as well as the main research status,research methods and innovations of this topic.The main body consists of three chapters.The second chapter mainly describes the Tang Dynasty with its open foreign policy and unique Binggong subject system to enable overseas students to enter the Tang Dynasty education activities carried out smoothly.At the same time,under the situation of the annexation of the three countries in the Korean Peninsula,Silla began to implement the pro-Tang policy in order to obtain political contacts with the Tang Dynasty,and began to send foreign students to the Tang Dynasty with the help of the favorable conditions of convenient transportation and close civil contacts between Tangluo and Silla.The third chapter mainly narrates the educational activities and development process of the students studying abroad in the Tang Dynasty.It inspects the management system,educational activities,educational contents and educational forms of the students studying abroad in Tang Dynasty in detail.It also examines the historical context of the educational activities of the students studying abroad in Silla from the beginning to the end and then to the revival.The fourth chapter mainly describes the historical role of Silla students studying in the Tang Dynasty and their understanding of Tang culture.Students from Silla in Tang Dynasty played a very important political and cultural role in the history of Tang and Luo Dynasties by studying the rules and rituals of the Dynasty and participating in the Tang Dynasty.Foreign students'self-conscious practice of Tang culture also changed from a kind of cultural identity to a kind of culture,and had a positive impact on the society of Silla.The fifth chapter is the conclusion part,which summarizes and defines the main points of this paper.
