Research of Coping Styles Adapted by Elementary School Students in Collision with OthersCoping style is very important for man's health of body and mind, and so for adaptability to the society. It is a key stage to have the children a good coping style in elementary school which is of great significance for the study of children coping style. This article is based on the technique of questionnaires and try to explore the character of status quo, grade and sex for coping style of elementary school, in collision with others, and the relationship between coping style and scoring, character and personality. The research indicates that, (1) The questionnaire for coping style of elementary school students in the collision with others has high reliability and validty. (2)The principal style to cope the collision with others for elementary school students is appeal, problem solution , attacking, illusion and escape. (3)The coping style of problem solution and appeal is more adopted by girls than boys; and the coping style of attacking and illusion is more adopted by boys than girls. (4)With the grade rising, in coping collision with others, more and more elementary school students adopt the coping style of problem solution and appeal; and the coping style of attacking is lessened obviously, which is the most prominent in grade four to six. (5)The coping style of problem solution is more adopted by the students with high and general scores than others; and the coping style of attacking and escape is more adopted by the students with bad scores than the students with high and general scores. (6)The elementary school students with different personality have different coping styles obviously.
