High school students which in turbulent adolescence, eager to independence, but their independent ability don't reach the corresponding maturity, the contradiction between them brings a certain psychological conflict, produces various psychological problems, and affects their psychological health level. A mass of research indicate that in recent years the mental health status of the high school students in China is not optimistic, psychological health level assumes the declines in the trend.Previous researches proof that individual comprehension of the social support and coping styles to the psychological health have certain effect. In this paper, on the basis of past research questionnaire method, the high school in Shandong Province as the research target, the understanding of social support scale, simple way to deal with the questionnaire, symptoms of self rating scale as measuring tools, aiming to explore the understan-ding of social support and coping styles effect on the psychological health of high school students, in order to guide the psychology education to high school students.Through the questionnaire survey to 486 high school students in Shandong Province, there were findings as follows:1 high school students have better understand social support ability, with different support sources of comprehension ability from high to low lined for:others support, friends support, family support; In academic achievement and family atmosphere two factors variables, high school students understanding social support ability has the significant difference:The comprehension of the high school students are poor in study or from a family not harmonious is low.2 In the face of problems, high school students more take positive coping styles; in academic performance, there is significant difference about coping styles:the downstream scores more easy to take passive way to deal with the problem solving.3 The SCL-90 factor score and total score of high school students selected are below the national norm, and this shows that the mental health status of the status high school students is better; their main psychological problems are interpersonal relationship and force; girls' psychological symptoms are more obvious; the depression, anxiety, hostile and so on various symptoms of the high school students in grades downstream is obvious; from the countryside of high school students interpersonally, more sensitive; the symptoms of not only high school students in interpersonal relationship and phobia are more obvious; the SCL-90 SCL factor score of high school students from family atmosphere is not harmonious is relatively high.4 High school students' positive coping styles and understanding social support, family support, friends support and others support ability are positively related.5 High school students' understanding social support, family support, friends support and others support ability and SCL-90 various factors are a significant negative correlation.6 High school students' positive coping styles and SCL-90 various factors are a significant negative correlation; High school students' negative coping styles and SCL-90 various factors are a significant positive correlation.7 The high school students' positive and negative coping styles, understanding family support and friends support for SCL-90 total score are significantly prediction function; negative coping for total of SCL-90 has very significant positively predict action; the positive coping styles and the comprehension of family support and friends support for SCL 90 total score has very significant negative predicator; positive coping, negative coping, and understanding family and friends support can explain SCL-90 mutation of total 23.3%.
