The Pop Music And Its Cultural And Psychological Implications In Social Transformation Of China

Although the pop music occupied an important position in today's cultural life, it was not studied thoroughly. The paper has a try to study the pop music's appearance, development, spread and find its cultural and psychological implications during the process of social transformation with China's reform and open.The first chapter briefly treats with the transformation of China social construction in the new period. The transformations mainly include two aspects: the political ideology being centralized transformed into the economical construction being centralized and the centralizing in culture became many-faceted. It builds a base for the development of the pop music.The second chapter is the most important part in the paper.
