A Tentative Research Into The Music Of He' Bei Province During The Ming Dynasty

The music of He'bei province during the Qing Dynasty is an important integral part of the whole music culture of He'bei. During the Qing Dynasty, the development of the music of He'bei presented different situation and speed, and can be divided into three periods in which there are many distinct characters such as self-enjoy, transit and comprehensive etc. Dramatic music, saying-singing music, folk instrumental music, folk singing-dancing music and royal music all made mighty advances, and made some new forms and contents. Because the capital city was in He'bei province, He'bei became the center region of China in politics, economic and culture, which made the development of the music of He'bei being influenced by the royal music, and made He'bei became the region of exchanging music between the Man and Han nationality, as well as among the five provinces in north. The music of He'bei province during the Qing Dynasty affected the development of the modern music of He'bei greatly.
