A new method-process dissociation procedure, which can separate different contribution of consciousness and unconsciousness, was used to investigate depressed and anxious individual's mood-congruent memory(MCM). Two studies were designed to establish whether depressed and anxious individual exist implicit MCM or explicit MCM. It was found that: (l)depressed participants existed implicit MCM and explicit MCM, anxious participants only exist implicit MCM; (2)depressed participants' cognition were relative to displeasure, and anxious participants' cognition were relative to threat; (3)anxious participants existed explicit memory to positive matter.
