| The evaluation of poems Xuanyan and Gongti in the history of ancient literature was very low,since the poems all deviated from the traditional principle of "Yanzhi".As the outcome of Menfa noble culture,both of them embodied the special spirits of time and distinctive aesthetic feature.This dissertation intends to explore their aesthetic merits.This dissertation consists of three parts:In chapter one,it analyse the different state of mind of scholars in Dongjin and Nanchao.The former transcent the aesthetic realm into philosophical realm,and the latter wallowed in the sensual pleasures.Chapter two describe the style and feature of objects in the poems from the angle of the relation between mind and object.the images of natural mountain-and-water in Xuanyan poems are full of symbolic expressive function,and the images of decorative beauty in Gongti poems are sensory.The last part summarizes the experience and lessons about how to mix "mind" and "object".The author considered that the articles suiting both refined and popular tastes are vivid with life.
