Studies On The Syntactic, Semantic And Pragmatic Analysis Of Cun-xian Sentence In Madarin Chinese

Cun-xian Sentence is a very characteristic sentence pattern in Madarin Chinese. It has been studied in succession since 1920's. In the beginning, those studies dispersed in the composing which studied the subjects and objects of sentences. Gradually, scholars began to write grammar books and articles to studied this sentence pattern on purpose. Grand old men and our craft brothers' studies mainly centered on the syntactic plane. Their thoughts were very active and they got lots of achievements. In the 1980's, with the bringing forward of the three-plane grammar theory, some people started to study Cun-xian Sentence from the semantic plane and pragmatic plane. But these studies are not systematic enough. Presently, there are still some problems in the studying of Cun-xian Sentence which need further studies, such as the indefinite definition, the disunity of realization on its scope and its sentence pattern, and its being unequilibriumly studied. Basing on the former achievements and using the three-plane grammar theory, this thesis tries to analyze Cun-xian Sentence from syntactic plane, semantic plane and pragmatic plane.In allusion to Cun-xian Sentence's indefinite definition and the bifurcation on its scope, firstly this thesis defines Cun-xian Sentence as follows: Cun-xian Sentence is a sentence which means somebody or something lies, arises or disappears at sometime or somewhere. In addition, the thesis differentiate four sorts of sentences which are likely to be miataken as Cun-xian Sentence. This is helpful to fix Cun-xian Sentence's scope. Also, the thesis discusses Cun-xian Sentence's traits.In the next place, this thesis analyzes Cun-xian Sentence from syntactic plane, semantic plane and pragmatic plane. In the part of syntactic analysis, the thesis discusses Cun-xian Sentence from the following three aspects: the syntactic traits of every fraction of Cun-xian Sentence, Cun-xian Sentence's pattern, and the analysis on Cun-xian Sentence's structure arrangements. The thesis also gives some opinion on Cun-xian Sentence's pattern. In the part of semantic analysis, the following four aspects: the semantic traits of every fraction of Cun-xian Sentence, the analysis on Cun-xian scentence's model, the analysis on Cun-xian scentence's "body",the dynamic Cun-xian Sentence and static Cun-xian Sentence are fully discussed.In the part of pragmatic analysis, the thesis discusses the Cun-xian scentence's topic and statement, focus and beforehand-suppose, also the thesis ranges over the information structure of Cun-xian Sentence, the expressing function of every fraction, and the Cun-xian scentence's ascription of sentence sort, as well as its expressing function. In addition to discussing Cun-zai Sentence, this thesis ranges over a lot of Chu-xian Sentence and Xiao-shi Sentence. And it is of importance for Cun-xian scentence's studying.
