Traditional Chinese culture is called filial culture in a sense, traditional Chinese society builds on the filial duty, so that the filial duty is of great culture phenomena to differentiate from ancient Greek,Roman and ancient Indian culture. Along with traditional agricultural society changes to industrial and past-industrial society, filial duty's traits are dying away gradually. A pluralistic society is gradually forming. In the society of this kind, it is possible to mix Christian culture together with Chinese culture. This paper consists of four parts. (1) Putting some kinds of filial duties in order and analyzing action of the Song and Ming Dynasties to filial duty; (2) Analyzing five basic actions of traditional filial duty in the family; (3) By the way of analyzing filial duty's gradually dying away, we have an inexorable trend of pluralistic society; (4) Reconstructing new filial duty of pluralistic society and emphasizing that it is possible to open up to Christianity.
