| With the development of education reform, quality education has been carried out. In this field, the main concepts are " regarding persons as the basis" and emphasizing the students' whole development. Because healthy mental state is part of human, quality, mental health education in primary schools is vital not only in quality education but also in modern education.In order to obtain the information on it and therefore to carry it out scientific and effectively, I have made a wide investigation in Changsha . The investigation proves that mental health education in Changsha has harvested to some degree. Most schools are clear about the aim of mental health education; thpy have found out lots of ways to carry out mental health education. Some of the schools have set up mental education mechanism in which all teachers join. Meanwhile ,mental health education in Changsha is still at the first stage. This is supported by the following:(1) Different schools have developed without balance.(2) They are far behinds the schools in advanced zones.(3) Teachers' concepts on mental health education are in great need of being developed, so are school masters and education administers in different departments.(4) The serious shortage is teachers carrying out mental health education.(5) Mental health education, to some extent, has been moralized, subjectlized, adultlized and individualized.(6) Although the ways to carry out mental health education are variable, the low scientific and professional level, has resulted form the shortage of routines scientific and technological supports, the direction from theories and practice.On the basis of the above investigation result, I have some proposals:(1) To change and develop concepts.(2) To enforce the construction of teachers group.(3) To quicken routinization process of mental health education by establishing territorial center on mental health education and enforcing information communication.(4) To enforce the theory research and the application research on mental health education.(5) To enforce the organization and direction on mental health education so as to routilize it.(6) To emphasize teachers' mental health.(7) To set up a mental health education model connected with schools, families and society. |
