| This essay takes the special pattern of "有+VP" as the object of research .It uses some theories such as the big triangle theory of "Putonghua-Dialect-Ancient Chinese" and three planes theory, concretely discusses what kinds of "VP" can be followed by "有" in modern Chinese and Chinese dialects. It also refers to the semantic and pragmatic meaning of "有" and its diachronic changes . The author tries her best to study "有" from the perspective of form intergrating meaning, static study intergrating motion, description intergrating explanation.Five parts can be divided in this essay.Part one: The researching situation and the theory and method in this essay using. In this part , the author introduces the existing researching achievements and the difference and blemish among them . the researching area of this essay. At the same time , introduces the researching methods and the studying steps.Part two: The diachronic changes of the pattern of "有 +VP" . This part is to provide diachronic basis to the synchronic study. The "有+VP " construction changes from complexity to simplicity , The function of "有" has developed five functions except the practical meaning of "exist, obtain" from Qin dynasty to Qing dynasty.Part three: The pattern of "有+VP" in modern Chinese. According to study, the part of "VP" is relatively simple. Five types will be found in the structure of VP. The function of "有" keeps the meaning of "having no practical meaning, only for syllabic function" except the meaning of "obtain, exist." .Part four: The pattern of "有+VP" in Chinese dialects.The structure of VP is complicated, excepting the meaning of "obtain, exist" , the function of "有"has kept and developed four functions :a. "有" means perfect aspect; b. "有" means the future ;c. "有" means emphasizing affirming ;d. "有" means large quantity, ling time ,high level and so on.Part five: The last of the essay .Language changes all the time , because of the influence of strong dialects , some people who speak Putonghua and some formal bookes always accept some forms of "有+VP" constructions which exist in Min, Yue, Ke, Wu dialects. |
