Dai Fugu is a famous poet of Jianghu Group in the Southern Song Dynasty. As a rambling poet for forty years and a common person all the life, Dai Fugu is a typical one in Jianghu School. On the base of such four aspects as "current events", "life story", "social communication" and "works', this chronicle will preliminarily describe his life story and achievement in a systematical way,.Dai Fugu was bom in December, the third year of the Qian Dao Age. After finishing the study of poem, he left his hometown for Lin'an in the third year of the Qing Yuan Age, where he stayed for more than ten years. Steeled for many years , his poems were gradually accepted, and began to show talent in Jianghu Group. Then he traveled in Huainan, Jiangxi, Hubei and Hunan for many years, making friends with many Jianghu poets. Meanwhile, Zhao Rudang compiled his works for the first time, which built up his important position in Jianghu Group. During the Bao Qing Age, he went back to Lin'an. In the second year of the Shao Ding Age, he went to Fujian with his poems, and in the following ten years he spent his most time in wandering in Fujian, Guangdong, etc. He wrote a lot of poems that were compiled into a collection for several times. When he traveled in Shaowu, he had warmly talks with Yan Yu about the poem theory after their writing practice, and he elaborated his viewpoints in his Lun Shi Shi Jue. In the autumn of the first year of the Jia Xi Age, he went back home. He kept a high enthusiasm of writing when staying home, and produced a considerable number of poems every year. About in the seventh year of the Chun You Age, he died.Dai Fugu spread his footmark to most part of the country of the Southern Song Dynasty. This great rambling life excited his inspiration, broadened his horizon, and enriched his poems' theme and content, which was one of the important reasons why he became one leader of Jianghu Group as Liu Kezhuang and Fang Yue.
