Judaism as one of the origins of the West Culture takes up an important place in human culture history. The ethical ideas, an important part of Judaism , is closely related to Judaism and the Jewish nation. The ethical ideas of Judaism tied with reality not only enhances the cohesion of the Jewish people ,but also exerts a profound influence on the early development of Christianity. The writer tries to disclose the characteristics and the general significance of Judaism by the longitudinal historical investigation of the ethical ideas of Judaism and the latitudinal comparision of the ethical ideas between Judaism and Confucianism in pre-Qin.The thesis includes four parts:The first part is to explain the origin and the development of the ethical ideas of Judaism . The second one is to analysis the main points and features of the ethical ideas of Judaism. The third part focuses on the influences of the ethical ideas of Judaism on the early Christianity. The fourth one makes comparison of ethical ideas between Judaism and Confucianism in pre-Qin and concludes the similarity and the difference.
