All the music activities are taken at the adjusting and controlling of human psychology. Britain philosopher Roche said: " when you teach a student, what you genuinely taught must be touch with the mentality of the student." The piano teaching should also follow the relevant theories and principles of human psychology. Then comes the purport of this article: Setting out from the angle of human psychology, it analyses the mentality characteristics and the regulations in piano studying and playing course of students, and find a right way to give piano teaching to students. First, we should let the students grasp the practiced and overall playing skills and methods. On the other hand, we should give effective psychological training to students to make them carry on better mental self-controlling capability and disciplined mental quality. By the way of the piano teaching, we should constantly raise student's attention, imaginative power, creativity and their understanding, appreciate ability and expression of music, and also develops the thinking in images and mentality functions such as the emotion is expressed by students, in order to achieve development of intelligence and the purpose to raise character for the students.By way of consulting the material analysis to make the conclusion, the text is divided into two parts. First part is the analysis of students' psychology in the studying course, including the psychoanalysis in the practicing course; the practice and formation of the piano playing skills; and the bad mentality appearance analysis in the playing course. Second part is the mentality training in the teaching. It proves two aspects from the subjective initiative to transfer student with cultivating the demonstration. At the first part of the text, by way of the psychoanalysis in practicing course, expounding the liaisons and coordination between the consciousness and sense in the playing course. The forming process of piano playing skills must be taken by every piano students, going deepinto analyzing the mentality characteristic in each step of studying is very important and meaningful for choosing the right training method and having good piano practicing habit for the piano learners. Owing to the fact that piano studying is a very arduous course, it is influenced by many kinds of psychological factors such as perception, attention and emotion etc, so in the studying course, it is very easy for the students to form disadvantaged psychological phenomena in learning course, for example: self-abased mentality, being afraid of difficulty and giving an instrumental performance mentality obstacle etc. These problems must be solved by the way of the scientific and effective training method, then we have second part to demonstrate from this: how to transfer the subjective initiative of students, and make students give rise to the inherent study motive, and cultivate the mentality character of good mentality character of student by the way of the active mental training method.
