Research On Several Problems Of Patriarch Clan System Of The Mongol Nationality

This thesis is a component of a book with the name "On Patriarch Clan System of Chinese Minority "which is "The Tenth Five-Year Plan" focal task of Guangxi Normal University.My supervisor,Professor Qian Zongfan,is in charge of this task.As a minority with great influence in Chinese and foreign history,Mongol nationality left abundant historical culture with national characteristics during its exploitation and building of our motherland.At present the research on Mongolian historical culture has become a world knowledge.Although last century Soviet schorlars studied patriarchal and feudal relation of central Asia's nomadic nationality ,to study Mongolian culture from patriarchal angle will fill in the blank in domestic academic circles.Thus,in the light of primitive documental data,under the instruction of basic principles of Marx-Leninism and Mao Zedong thought concerning patriarch clan system ,my thesis deeply studies the actual state that patriarch clan system existed in ancient Mongolian society and discusses some problems of patriarch clan system that existed in Mongolian history by wide comparison with other nationalities' patriarch clan system .The author expects to make preliminary exploration into patriarch clan system of Mongol nationality by means of this thesis ,deepen our understanding of Mongolian history and existing state of Chinese patriarch clan system and be in opening service of casting a brick to attract jade for domestic schorlars to deeply study Mongolian patriarch clan system .The research of Mongolian patriarch clan system is of important realistic meaning for us to critically inherit Mongolian traditionalculture ,fulfill the important thought "Three Representatives",promote socialist two civilization establishment and overally build Mongol nationality's socialist relatively comfortable life. The first part of this thesis dates back to the origin and development of patriarch clan system in Mongolian society .It points out that Mongolian paternal clan system originated from the emergence of private ownership in Mongolian society and establishment of paternal clan commune.And it also summarizes patriarchal displays of paternal clan communalcell of Mongol nationality -----paternal patriarchal family :firstly,men and women were unequal in social position;enslaved slaves began to exist in such families.After the investigation of Mongollian patriarch clan system development during Mongol empire,Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasty,the first part of the thesis comes up to the following patriarchal characteristics:firstly,the serf system of enfeoffment and patriarch system enfeoffment pursued by ChengJi Si Hanwere the basic origin that patriarch clan system existed in Mongolian society ;secondly,the unity of Mongolian feudal lords' political rule and patriarchal rule of serfs took on a strong appearance;thirdly,patriarchal religious authority began to appear and gradually performed an important function in Mongolian social life.It were above patriarchal performances and characteristics that affected all aspects of Mongolian social life,drew a rough outline of Mongolian patriarchal culture.On the basis of preliminary exploration into several characteristics of Mongolian patriarch clan system by means of inducing,summarizing,analyzing,offering examples and comparing,the thesis from the second to the sixth part probes into the performances and characteristics of Mongolian patriarch clan system from thefollowing aspects:the basic characteristics and emerging causes of the patriarchal and feudal relation in Mongolian society;marriage,inheritance,funeral,offering sacrifices to gods or ancestors in Mongolian social life.The thesis also puts forward the urgent demand that we should transform traditional patriarchal culture of Mongol nationality to adapt to contemporary great exploitation of the western part of China and push forward the two socialist civilization building in Mongolian area.The second part explores into the patriarchal and feudal relation in Mongolian society.The author a...
