Since the reform and open the country, rapid development of economy made moreexchange between China and many other countries, accordingly this made many people beginto learn Chinese and many scholars begin to pay attention to teaching Chinese as a majorforeign language. So many scholars studied Chinese and presented many new papers andtheories. The study for the difference of “negative tense” between Korean and Chinese werenot so long but many scholars started to compare this problems.For example “不能做” and “做不完” are strictly different in Chinese but it is notdistinguished but translated as “.” in Korean.This is why the difference of “tence” between two language.This is the starting point of the author to study about the difference of “tense”.The main object of this study are the comparison of negative tense() betweenKorean and Chinese, and comparative analysis of tense between Korean complementverb()“-/” and Chinese possibility complement()This article is divided into five parts, including introduction, four bodies and conclusion.The first part is Introduction which include the main research background, the object ofstudy, the research status, the research methods and the sources of data.The second part described the meaning of the Korean negative tense ", and"“and theChinese negative tense "不“and”没”and compared the difference of tenses.In the third part compared between Korean compliment verb “/”“”“” and Chinesepossibility complement, and studied the difference of tense.In the fourth part compared the “tense” between Korean and Chinese and the reason ofdifferences.In the fifth part is conclusion as;In Chinese, negative tense have tense itself but in Korean, has no differences in tense somust explane tense by assistance of complement verbs.
