With the formation and the development of multi-cultural societies, communication between different cultures is becoming an inevitable necessity. More and more people become engaged in the acquisition of a second language to acquire the intercultural communicative competence. Language acquisition is the result of cooperation between language teaching and language learning. It embodies the effects of both language teaching and language learning. In order to improve the effects of language teaching, many researchers have proposed various teaching modes based on different theoretical foundations; language learners are also seeking for proper learning methods in accordance with their own personalities. However, the proposal of both the teaching modes and learning methods should base itself on the analytical research of how the second language develops and changes in the learners' brains.The present study conducts a series of semantic priming experiments in Uygur language and Han Chinese language to the second, third, fourth year Han Chinese students from Chinese Languages Department in College of Humane Studies. By means of theories and methods of Educational Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Psychological Linguistics and Educational Statistics, the author analyzes the results of the experiments and draws a picture of the mixture and departure of the bilingual Han Chinese learners' vocabulary.
