| 6Shen Jun-ru was a famous jurist and democratic personage in the contemporary history of our country and he was also an outstanding patriot. Before the People's Republic of China founded, he went through three periods: the late Qing, the Northern Warlords and the National Government in Nanjing. Meanwhile, they were also the periods that China was faced with demotic trouble and foreign invasion, and the society was turbulent. In order to rescue the nation crisis, to carry out the hope of make China rich, strong and prosperous, he constantly seek truth. He began as a feudal scholar and finally turned into a communist. By analyzing his family background, education and complicated social environment, the paper tries to research tentatively on Shen's political thoughts. It is generalized from following two aspects:Part One: The forming course of Shen's political thoughts. Firstly, he accepted traditional feudal education in his earlier life. Influenced by Reform Ideological Trend, he broke away from the tie of feudal thoughts. Go to Japan as a returned student infused him with western advanced political ideology. Secondly, after the failure of constitutionalism movement in the end of Qing Dynasty, he positively joined the revolution and accepted the Three Principles of the People. In the couise of against the Northern Warlords, he realized that Chinese politics must depended on people's will. Thirdly, Shen realized that it should depend on the strength of every stratum to win the Anti-Japanese war. In the course of the war of resistance against Japan,he turned to a sincerely friend of the Chinese Communist Party.Part Two: Shen's political thoughts during the period of the war of resistance against Japan. Shen's own view on democratic politics was based on the New Three Principles of the People, his starting point and purpose were all for Anti-Japanese and national construction. Firstly, Shen narrated the importance and possibility of carry out democratic politics during the period of the war of resistance against Japan.Secondly,Shen narrated his own view on the democratic politics from three aspects: the organization for public opinion ,democratic rights and political parties.Thirdly ,Shen raised his opinion on how to launch democratic politics.Shen propagated democracy in newspapers and magazines, meanwhile he advocated people's rights through his own action. Many young people had been encouraged by him. Shen's political thoughts was an exotic flower in the contemporary ideological history of China and that caused us to think about deeply.
