Wang-Chuanshan's poetic works, not only have many rolls, but also have lots of content. So the research worker can study them from different sides and at different visual angles. At explanatory angle, the article studies Wang-Chuangshan's poetic works, and finds that these works lack definite poetic explanation arrangement, but contain abundant and exquisite poetic explanation theory. In a positive way, Chuanshan have stated the basic problems such as whether poems can be understood or not, how to understand poems, etc. Chuanshan's poetic works think that the poetic explanation presupposes the Shi-Liang. The creation of the poem embodies the Shi-Liang, so do the enjoyment and commenting of the poem. The "Shi "(识) is knowledge and experience. The "Liang" (量) is the self-restraint. The two elements interact and expand, then the Shi-Liang come into being. In Chuanshan's poetic works, the Shi-Liang is composed of four elements, which are literary, sentiment, learning and thinking. One should constantly enlarge the conditions and the horizons from the four sides, finally, can get the long and big Shi-Liang. In the long and big Shi-Liang, the people can get relatively determined and relatively correct understand. Chuanshan's poetic works take the Shi-Liang as core, certainly are one kind ofsurmounts theory of poems. In a negative way, Chuanshan's poetic works discuss the reason of misunderstand. Chuanshan's poetic works hold that it is the narrow and small Shi-Liang that makes misunderstand come into being. One can get relatively determined, correct, self-sustaining understand by the way of having aspiration, reading more, intoning, and being content of one's lot. But vulgar and custom like invisible magic powers, and make the Shi and the Liang satisfy each other. So the conditions and the horizons become smaller. Finally, sorts of evil poems and poets emerge in the poetry circles like an endless stream. Chuanshan's poetic works emphasized the vulgar and the custom, therefore are of extremely critical color.Someone considers Chuanshan's poetic works are the Confucians' poetics by restoring ancient ways. But through criticizing and surmounting, the restoring is not simply, but one a kind of "push away so unique its new road, against restoring shut", so Chuanshan's poetic theory shows that it does not lack of "comprehensive expression" of graceful manner of creativity.
