Comments On Study Of DunHuang Language Since 1980s

Ever since 1980s, the study of DunHuang language has been advancing at miraculous pace, for its increasing researchers, its renewing methods as well as its spectacular achievements. Compared with what it was during 1920s-1970s,it has progressed greatly in 1980s. Applying macro-microscopic study, the author makes some discussions on DunHuang language during that decade, points out the research features of that time, concludes all the achievements made by then, comments in details on more than ten experts in this field, tells out this truth as well as faults,then indicates its developing trend in the future. It illustrates that these following four points should be taken under consideration: 1, to enhance the study collation; 2, to attention to division of its literature; 3, to study more on common words; 4, to work on its comparison with Chinese Version of Buddhist Scripture.
