This thesis is to investigate the bilingual teaching faculty for Foreign Trade majors. It begins with the theories of the bilingual and bilingual teaching in sociolinguistics and the studies and practice in China. It is indicated that the bottleneck lies in the bilingual teaching faculty. It is required that in applying bilingual teaching in foreign trade classes, a teacher should be a teacher, a foreign trade professional and a bilingual as well. It is well planned to apply the inquiry and data collection. There are different sets of questionnaire and test paper for different majorities of samples, which is to know the situation of the teacher faculty in bilingual teaching as regard to foreign trade classes. Then the protocol analysis and the diagnosis make it clear that there are such problems as the lack of foreign trade professional knowledge and the different levels of teachers talk, of which the implications are got for the solutions. In the end, it is thought macroscopically that the teacher qualities problems should be solved in bilingual teaching as regard to foreign trade classes. Because of the different characteristics of each solution, we should apply flexibly.
