This article will discuss the meaning of Chinese-tour-shopping to the local economy through the case analysis and the detail number; firstly we will start with the status and the problems of the business of China-travelling.As an 'unlimited' spending, the economic potential of tour-shopping is the most part in the inscape of tour products, thus many developed countries and areas in the world attach importance to tour-shopping. Li Min, the operation majordomo of the Department of Chinese Citizens of China International Travel Agency, points out that shopping is the most potential part, China needs to do much advancement in the area.Here we' 11 take Yunnan Province as an example to explain its own characteristic of the tour-shopping products. Yunnan is the world of mountains, hometown of rivers. It' s natural sight is wonderful, with glacier, volcano, lakes, highland and jungle. The 'Combination of three rivers' areas are the largest natural legacy of the world and a famous showplace with area of 340000 square kilometres. It' s infrequence event in the whole world that in one 3940000 square kilometres province there can be unique physiognomy and natural sights and rare wild animals and plants at one time. Besides, there are 26 different kind of folks live here, and their customs had form the especially and various humanity sight which combined with the miraculous natural sight and exhibit the artistic realm of 'Eternal Shangrila' which attracted plenty of tourist all over the world. As yet Yunnan have 10 country-level showplaces and 1 country-level holiday area. 'Never go to Yunnan, or you will love it' says the tourist.Now we will narrate the basic flow of designing and development of tour-shopping products, and analysis the recent status of tour-shoppingbusiness of Yunnan:1. Variety of sorts2. Strong folk feature3. Irrationality of product structure, first-level tour-merchandise is the Majority4. Confusion at price5. Low-level environment and service6. Lack of brands, ragged qualities7. Merchandise without regionality or unique feature or uncopibility8. Absence of excellent and new designing9. Low-level combination between tour projects and tour merchandiseAt last we give the development of the tour merchandise of Yunnan some advice,And represent the necessity of continual development.
