Early 20th century was a period of social unrest in China, however, economic growth is unusually striking. And also the modernization of China occurred during the evolution and development. Nationwide port trade market for the traditional business model and injected fresh blood circulation structure, vibration of the continuation of small-scale peasant mode of self-sufficiency for thousands of years, the vast Mainland market and the world to communicate together. Meanwhile, with the infiltration of foreign economic forces, commercialization of agriculture and industry in the Mainland reached a white-hot level of modernization, changes in structure of these unprecedented commodity production and circulation system.During this period, Shandong Province, the traditional economic model is gradually changing to the modern market economy. Qingdao is a deserted the small fishing village to Jiaozhou Bay convenient transportation and suitable climatic conditions to attract Russia, Germany, Japan and other countries of the attention. Subsequently formed the Qing government, Opening of the German occupation, became a free port north of one of the few. With the Qingdao port and transportation infrastructure to complete, the gradual replacement of the important position of Yantai in Shandong as well as an important trading port in North China.
