The Analysis And Expectation Of The Research Of The Dictionary Since 1980's

Since the 1990's, the dictionary has developed much, and at the same time, the disquisition about it also has gone ahead. This dissertation describe the performance of the study about the dictionary and some questions still in the academic research, and to prospect the progress of the academic. On the basis of the particular information, the research carry through with the method of contrasting, being of the background of the society, the history of the academic and the development of the dictionary. This thesis can divide into five parts in the dissertation, to discuss the same thing from five different sides. First, the research of the dictionary is independent, broken away from the linguistics, based on the grand old man's work. Second, the development of the dictionary has faced both opportunity and challenge since the 1980's. The opportunity is the people's thought has been released and accepted many knowledge, they need a lot of dictionary to content their requirement. The challenge means there still have blank in the research, and needs many academicians to perfect it. The third, the research is on developing, and the frame of the theory is still in constructing, there are things wants to be repaired to the perfection, including to building the troop of scholar about the research, the application of the computer in the compilation and so on.
