Modern design art is considered as one of the important activities in the contemporary society. Closely related to people's life, it serves as a convenient tool for people to pursue sound social relations, a safe and comfortable working environment and a delicate living quality. Modern logo design is an important means contributory to the promotion of the natural communications among people. It has been recognized as an indispensable constituent of the modern economy and market activities. This thesis focuses on the existing role of the modern logo design in contemporary China and what demands and prospects China holds for it.This thesis about modern logo design can not be crowned as containing profound principles nor can it provide thorough descriptions or interpretations of the rationales to be covered in this thesis. With limited space, this thesis describes, analyzes and even tries to experiment on the impact of visual communication, in that the formation of the impact is largely determined by the subjects' Libido satisfaction degree, that is, the obtaining and sensation of pleasure. Though this thesis is confined to the studies on modern logo design with specific concern about the general principles as well as some graphic patterns of abstract logo design under the collective unconsciousness, it associates theories with practice in the purpose of advocating the nationality in modern logo design.
