The literary achievement of Yin Keng and He Xun was appreciated when they were living and was praised many times by Du fu in Tang Dynasty, but the relation between their poems and style of poem of Yong Ming period has not been noticed until the present time. Different history of Chinese literature have probed into this problem, but its' discussions are simple, or only about the poems of scenery. The process of change from Yong Ming period to Yin Keng and He Xun has not been discussed specifically, so this thesis will probe into problem from four sections below.The first section is introduction. There are some views on the juxtaposition of Yin Keng and He xun, the style of poem of Yong Ming period, the relation between Yin, He and the style of Yong Ming period.The second section is mainly about the succession of theme and deepening of feelings. It is analyzed about the differences and similarities between the poems of scenery, ode to object, romantic poems of Yin, He and the poems of Yong Ming period. We think that the depicting of scenery of Yin, He and poets of Yong Ming period are both subtle and lifelike. But when the poets of Yong Ming period depict scenery, they have an appreciative attitude and just show their acute observation and super skill. While Yin Keng and He Xun experience the subtle changes of nature whole heartily, which is the reason for their delicate depicting of scenery.The second trait is that their poems of scenery are fresh and delicate. There are still differences between Yin, He and poets of Yong Ming period, one of which is that the poems of Yin Keng and He Xun are mild and simple, mixed their life experiences.The third trait is that the scenery depicted and the emotions expressed are in perfect harmony. There is a fusion of feelings with the natural setting of poems of Yong Ming period, but which is not natural and so many. It is Ying Keng and He Xun that write a lot of poems in which scenery and emotion are in perfect harmony.As regards the ode to object, Yin Keng and He Xun share the common reason with poets of Yong Ming period. While Yin Keng and He Xun get rid of the bad habit of seeking pleasure, and they express emotions by depicting objects. Though their romantic poems are affected by fashion of that time, Yin Keng and He Xun expressemotions by depicting romantic poems. Besides these traits above, the feelings of poems of Ying Keng and He Xun is more sincere and deep than that of Yong Ming period.The third section is about rhythm. The formal factors of poems of Yin Keng and He Xun further conform to rules of rhythm. The sentences and couplets of rhythm have increased in the poems of Yin kreng and He Xun, and these couplets are united tightly and harmoniously. The matching of both sound and sense in two lines is disposed well in the poems of Yin Keng and He Xun. They write in rhythm by using the same rhyme, which help them avoid violating the rules of rhythm. Secondly, the whole poems also conform to rules of rhythm. Some poems of Yin Keng and He Xun are very similar to the poems of Tang Dynasty, not only in rhythm but also in structure. The jueju of He xun is specially good, furthermore, there are some long Iv shi in the poems of He Xun.The fourth section is about the change of fashion of poems from delicate to concise, which is completed by the change of feelings, more usual depicting of scenery, concise words. First, Yin keng and He Xun have replaced the airy style of Yong ming period with their deep feelings and imposing manner. Secondly, the depicting of Yin, He is different from Yong ming period, because the depicting of Yin, He is imposing, or mild, but the depicting of Yong ming period is splendid. Thirdly, the concise style embrace three factors :the simplifying of embellishment, the decreasing of using allusion, refining of words.
