From the beginning to the end, Sun Li never gave up his humanitarianism belief .He cared about "human being", cared about "human nature", he represented and explored them in his writings. The standard he judge human nature mainly from his ethic appeal .In his early writings, he praised beauty and goodness character of ordinary people in a harmony and ideal ethic surroundings. The second stage, he traced the human appetites among some conflict ethic rules, he was confused about some conflict values. In his senectitude, the author continued to explore some perplexed issue what he had traced in his former writings. In this stage, he criticized some wicked appetites and depraved moral behavior, for the purpose of to build a harmony and united life state, wipe the dirty away and leave beauty exist gracefully.The third section explores the relationship between Sun Li's moral concern and tragedy consciousness of his novel. Traditional ethic and individualism, humanism of illuminating thought combine together with a special state consist of Sun Li's value system. Represented in his novel's tragedy consciousness. Not only succession to the tragedy consciousness which digest by the new literature pioneers like LU- Xun etc. but also success to the tragedy spirit essence of traditional ethic criticism. Especially his regress to the traditional ideal, which made his novel, represented much more harmony and graceful characteristic than struggling spirit.
