The wood engraving New Year picture of Zhuxian town, which has a history of 800 years, is that of the ancestor in China. Being one important part of Chinese traditional handicraft, it is the carrier of Chinese traditional culture spirit and aesthetic character. For thousands of years, by inheriting from masters to pupils or forefathers to offspring, generations of handicraftsmen in Zhuxian town passed on and developed not merely the skills at New Year picture but the specific Chinese historic tradition, humane thoughts and cultural character.
