The basic goal of school mental health education is to cultivate in the students a good and health mental quality through its training. Middle school students are still in the dangerous period when it is very likely for them to develop certain kinds of mental problems. Therefore, how to promote students' psychology to perfect development and how to prevent and reduce the appearance of mental problem become one of the major concerns of middle school mental health education. Consequently, in this paper, the author tries to construct a systematic, focalized, and practical overall instructional strategy system of middle school mental quality education so as to improve the effectiveness of education in this area.The thesis is divided into three parts, In the first part, the author set forth the significance of the subject chosen and the present achievement of research in the area. And the second part is about the major direction and methods of this research. While in the third part, the author enters into detailed discussion of the topic-including an investigation and analysis of the present condition of the instructional strategies in middle school mental quality education. On the basis of a theoretical structure and a practical approach, the author sums up three major steps of middle school instructional strategies concerned with mental quality education: (1) teaching-preparation strategy, the main purpose of which is to design the purpose and to choose the substance of teaching.
