Parent-child conflict is the explicit behavior in every day life, with unhappy emotions, because of the differences among many perceptions. The reliability and validity of measurements in present researches have been criticized. So the aim of this research is to construct a theoretical model of parent-high school student conflict and to develop a measurement based on the model, which is supposed to have good reliability and validity .In this research, a primary questionnaire based on previous researches, interview, listening expert ideas was developed. According to the result of the explorative factor analysis (EFA) on a data set of 416 participants using the primary questionnaire, this research revised the primary model of parent-high school student The formal questionnaire was developed based on the revised model. The present study used a confirmatory factor analysis on a data set of 850 participants using the formal questionnaire to examine how well the hypothesized model would fit with the data collected. The result of the CFA showed that the hypothesized model fits well with the data. And analyze the answers about parent-child conflict and self-support. At last, this research discussed the cause and characteristic of parent-high school student. Results as follows:(1) The model was composed of six factors: individual choice, rule, fare, commitment,comity, respect.(2) The internal consistency coefficient, split-half reliability, content validity, constructvalidity were good. This questionnaire could be used to test the parent-high school student conflict.(3) The characteristic of conflict was analyzed. The result agreed with practical things. Thisquestionnaire could be used as a good measurement in other researches.(4) Self-support could be the cause of conflict between parent and high school student.
